Benjamin Prins is an international opera stage director, currently based in central Germany as Operndirektor at Theater Nordhausen since 2022. Recognizable for his distinctive style, his work follows a “third way”, combining strong dramaturgical exploration, musical insight and psychological depth. Working across all genres of opera and musical theatre, his visionary productions rely on precise actor direction, seeking beauty and narrative clarity to open the doors of opera to new audiences.
